This kit will turn your super powerful Benchtop Drill Press into an almost silent tool! Simply install this "noise reducer" in the cutoff area of the spindle where the cutter spins and the noise is gone! For long strangle times the Noise Reducer Kit will work wonders dampening the sound of the spindle against the work piece. Be careful though, they are still very loud! Because they are brass the actual sound reduction is minimal but the difference in decibels is noticeable. However, over time and with practice the knock-out effect of the Noise Reducer Kit will be noticed on all but the highest spindle speed machines you own. Be sure to check with the manufacturer before doing any maintenance to ensure a proper fit.
