Used in a number of weapon systems, this swivel stud mount provides the strength of steel without the weight or long term wear issues of cast mounts. For use in KeyMod slots, the swivel stud replaces existing socket-type sling loops and provides a more secure anchor for a sling, while the machined funnel shape allows the swivel stud to smoothly articulate when inserted from any angle. A machined funnel in the lower swivel stud allows a sling to smoothly articulate when pushed down on the swivel stud. The bottom of the swivel stud is chamfered to prevent wear on mounting hardware when securing the swivel stud in place. The swivel stud is chamfered to prevent wear on bedding and bedding of the sling swivel stud. Anodized with Type III Hard Anodize, this swivel stud is corrosion and wear resistant allowing multiple swivels to be easily installed. Not Compatible with Bane-Head Slings.
