A secure, ambidextrous hip holster that features an adjustable thumb break. Made with a synthetic material, which provides no stretch and is very durable. This holster was designed with an open-top design that allows the wearer to draw the firearm without removing the firearm from the holster. Using a straight up draw, the index finger is placed in a pocket and the firearm is drawn, using the same motion and grip that the wearer naturally uses when holstering the firearm. On a downward draw, a small loop of material is used as a retention device. This allows the firearm to be drawn from the holster without removing the firearm from the pocket and, due to the angle of the draw, the firearm is drawn more efficiently. The low-cut design of the hip holster provides comfortable and easy access, especially for the larger hand guns. The hammer-down retention of the hammer-less versions of the Hip Holster and the Thumb Break models gives the holster great stability.
