I guess you get what you pay for. In fact, this time I got less than what I paid for. This safety is not to spec, the design is plain faulty and poorly made. Five Dollars more gets you a far more decent product. Returning it without a doubt.
Product Info for Guntec USA AR-15 Multi Degree Short Throw Ambidextrous Safety
Guntec USA has introduced their new Guntec Multi-Degree Short Throw Ambidextrous Safety that solves several issues with the standard AR safety selectors. The patent-pending, ambidextrous gun safety allows both sides of the safety to be used and manipulate with one hand. This solves problems with accidentally firing with one hand while keeping the other hand free to manipulate the firearm. This solves two other big problems with the AR safety selectors, namely, over-travel and over-recoil. With this new Guntec innovation, you no longer need to buy multiple after market parts to modify your AR safety selectors. Guntec's new safety is a lightweight, forged, T6 aluminum construction with an ambidextrous design that easily installs using a standard open bolt head bolt. One side of the Guntec safety is a lightweight, forged, short throw lever with a paddle that enables both sides of the safety to be used with one hand. Each side can be used to a different degree if desired. Each side also features a hex selector knob with knurling on both sides.Knotches on both sides of the safety allow both sides to be used at a different degree if desired. Now both sides of the safety can be used with one hand, each side to a different degree if desired.
