I bought 2 of these one for a .300 blackout and one for a .556 i highly recommended hawk gazer as these are hands down the best laser/light combo for the money. I don't know why someone would 1 start this item just because they couldn't figure it out...

Im thinking the 1-star reviewgot a bum unit.
Starting at 5-star, the light / combo/ laser toggle switche and button works fine.
To change from on =1 press, strobe =2 presses, off stribeto normal=3 presses
True when you activate strobe mode it over...
