These Heathrow Microscope Slide Boxes, 100-Place HS15994B are perfect for staining sections prepared for electron microscopy. The tough, ridged prism slides are molded of an extremely tough polystyrene and are die-cut to create precise-fitting frames around slides. The lids are tight-fitting, clear neoprene covers and the base is molded of a noncorrosive, high-impact, plastic. In addition, the case has compartments for storing other slides. The top of each slide has a compartmented foam-lined space for engraving or annotating. Each slide fits snugly in a metal sleeve with a transparent, frosted exit port, ensuring that slides will not shift during handling. The hand-caliber precision ground and polished edges of these slide boxes ensure a smooth and even surface across the entire slide platform.
