Teal are medium-sized, fast-flying waterfowl, usually the size of mallards or widgeons and often hard to hit with even the HEVI-Steel II. These shells achieve velocities of up to 1,500 fps, great for short distances and sure to achieve knock-down power for larger birds such as teal, mallard and snipe. With a muzzle velocity of up to 1,500 fps, HEVI-Teal shells deliver the energy needed to take down targets, usually at ranges of less than half a mile per hour. These shells deliver an impressive combination of energy transfer and knock-down power, but with a pattern size and velocity suitable for small game such as widgeon and snipe. HEVI-Teal shells may also be used in high powered rifles, but they're incredibly inaccurate and the recoil is very high, so HEVI-Teal may not be suitable for the rifles used for the most part.
