Product Info for High Ground Gear AFCT3A Plate Carrier Insert
The AFCT3A is High Ground's new standard plate carrier insert, providing more than adequate level IIIA threat protection. The AFCT3A insert will fit in most plate carriers and can be mounted internally (with the holes) High Ground provides for maximum front and rear plate retention. The patented layered construction of the AFCT3A insert provides an optimal level of comfort and threat protection with a weight less than most minimalist plate carriers on the market. The layered construction provides excellent ballistic protection and reduces the weight of the system. The AFCT3A has passed both standard and MILSTD 662F tests, ensuring that our products are both ballistic resistant and corrosion resistant. Where applicable, our products have also been tested against a number of special threats beyond those listed above.
