Many videos showing excellent performance. They are a tad heavy and very thick, but several pounds lighter than steel plates. This is a multi-hit plate with spall protection. You're not going to find a better Level 4 plate for the money.

Product Info for Guard Dog OPMOD Level 4 Armor Plate w/ Advanced Coating
Guard Dog Body Armor Introduces the OPMOD Exclusive Level 4 Plate with an Advanced Polyurea Coating, providing strength and protection from the elements. The Advanced Coated plate features impact-isolating tiled ceramic that is the standard for all Guard Dog Body Armor Ceramic Plate Products, as well as front and rear aramid sheets to reduce spalling and decrease back face deformation even further.
Tested to exceed NIJ 0101.06 standards by the NTS Belcamp facility, with additional strike face coverage of .25 on each side, there is additional weight to these Level 4 Plates compared to our standard popular IVPLATE model, taking them from the 5.7lb plate of our standard offering to 6.5lbs per plate. Sized at 10x12x1, these fit most traditional plate carriers, though we always recommend using Guard Dog Body Armor Shepard, Trakr Pro, or Cerberus Plate Carriers.
