I have been using Hoppes # 9 for years. M Pro 7 does not have the strong smell or the greasy feel I will use M Pro 7 from now on. Gets a gun clean with little effort. Because I need to write at least 200 words I'm writing this to fill up words.

Tried this out as an odor-free replacement for Hoppes #9. Works well, especially if allowed to "soak" in the barrel for a few minutes. Optics Planet had the best price! Pros: Works as advertised Cons: None

M-Pro 7 Bore Gel: The ingredient Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether, <11%, CAS No. 112-34-5 is contained in the formulation and is subject to reporting requirements under SARA Title III Section 313 Part 372. Several scientific studies document the safety of Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether. Pantheon Chemical will furnish these documents upon request. All other ingredients of this Gun Cleaning Gel by M-Pro 7 are on the TSCA Inventory.image
