This Hornady Case 6-Blade ID Chamfers is a chamfering tool used to chamfer the inside of a case neck. This allows for smoother bullet insertion, enabling the cases to be reloaded easier. Each Hornady Case 6-Blade Inside Diameter Chamfers is packaged in a convenient hanging clamshell. With a smooth inside diameter (ID) chamfer your cases will lubricate better, feed smoothly, and wont clog with fouling. To chamfer a case simply put the case through the device, making sure the case is empty. There is a small amount of prep work required to chamfer the case. A case must be lubricated and sized for the chamfer tool before each round is loaded. Smooth new cases with the Hornady Case Prep 6-Blade ID Chamfer can be run through the sizing die nose or case neck sizing die nose first to chamfer the inside diameter. Cases must be seated all the way into the chamber to use the Hornady Case Prep 6-Blade Inside Diameter (ID) Chamfer Tool.
