I-Chem Vials are manufactured from borosilicate glass. Production of samples and preparation of standards in these low volume vials is economical and precise. Cylindrical necks are made from borosilicate glass. All vials except those with metal retaining rings have a ground seal. When the rear of the vial is ground, a crimping type punch is imprinted on the neck. Generally, a crimping type punch is included on the neck of the vial. Grading is done by eddy current probe. The Vials are calibrated to contain and feature a blowout thread on the neck. The Vials are supplied with a cotton plug attached on the neck. Vials are lot tested on or about to be refilled. Batch production lots are bar code numbered. Lots are batch numbered.
