These jars feature an extra wide mouth, making the number of sampling and filling options greater for the researcher who must mix and bottle materials on a daily basis. The unique square top design and the smaller lip profile provide greater flow control and reduced spillage, making them ideal for use in the lab, plant, or plant. Manufactured from borosilicate glass, these jars are autoclavable; however, boiling water should be used before autoclaving. The high grade, heavy-duty polycarbonate material of these jars makes breakage less likely than in traditional glassware. The high grade steel cap of these jars resists corrosion. Each jar is etched with the lot number, standard curve, lot number, and bar code.
