The tool disassembles for easy cleaning while leaving the working end fully engaged with the pestle and mortar or in the case with the pestle/strainer combo. For best results, lubricate with a suitable dispersing agent (e.g., polyacrylamide, hexane, cyclohexane). It is recommended that the tool be assembled with a good quality screen print pad or equivalent before turning it on. The screen print is done by hand.
