The T50 Basic model consists of a turret disperser with a specially designed aerating paddle which alternates between turret perforations for flow-through fluids and non-turret paddles for solids-only reactions. A reversible microprocessor controller provides variable speed control from a central control panel. Pilot and production size operations can be easily performed using the timed or continuous modes. The TURRAX-type disperser uses a unique aerator paddle-wash process to wash out aerator paddle as well as to locally rinse the aeration paddle as it is withdrawn from the liquid stream. A special liquid-tight PTFE diaphragm ensures smooth, pulsation-free operation. A check valve at the rear of the TURRAX-type dispersers allows for easy, safe venting in the event of a power failure, allowing for fast, trouble-free operation. A dispersing element is inserted into the rotor sheath of the TURRAX-type dispersers. A rust-resistant stainless steel bowl, suitable for the grinding of a wide variety of granular and powdered materials, such as agglomerates, powders, paints, inks and viscometers, provides a quick and easy change of dispersing elements. A 'variable' control handle can be easily changed to increase capacity. The TURRAX-type dispersers require either a new element or a complete overhaul of the rotor.
