You can easily check whether an item is in-stock before you place your purchase by using our Check Availability feature. You'll find the link directly on the product page near each individual model of an item.
If an item is in-stock, the information will show automatically. If an item is not currently in stock, clicking the link will check the availability of the item from our suppliers, and provide an estimate of when it will be available for shipment. This is only an estimate, and sometimes items take longer to source than expected (and sometimes they are available a lot sooner too!)
The availability of an item can change frequently, so make sure you check before you place your order!
On the product page, there is a suggested products carousel that includes similar items that may be good replacements to the item you are looking at. Check them out and see if they may fit your needs.
We're proud to be able to work with our expansive supply chain to offer many hard-to-find items, or allow our customers to pre-order the most in-demand items so that they can be first in line when the item is available again.
When you place a backorder with us, the most important thing to remember is that we do not charge you for an item until we are ready to ship it to you. You can learn more about this by checking out our Payment Policy & FAQ. In addition, you can cancel your backorder any time before the item is being prepared for shipment by using our online tool. Our Order Cancellation FAQ has instructions on how to do that.
Once we begin processing your order, we will work tirelessly to source your item and ship it to your door as quickly as possible. We'll provide you an estimate via email on when we expect your item to ship, and will update you if that ETA changes. You can also always check the status of your order by using our Order Status tool.
Do you charge if an item is backordered?
No, we do not. We do not capture (collect) funds from credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal before an item is being prepared for shipment. This means that in the case of a backorder, you will not be charged until we have received the item from our supplier and are preparing to ship it to your door. Please note that Ammunition orders will be filled as soon as we receive your ordered inventory.
We do authorize your payment method during the checkout process to ensure the method you provided is valid. Once we begin processing your order, we void (cancel) the authorization amount for any items that are not in stock. Until your card issuer processes this void, you may see a pending charge from us. This is typically removed within a week. We cannot do anything to speed this process up, but rest assured we did not collect any money from your payment method, regardless of whether you used a credit card, debit card, or PayPal.
If you have any issues with pending charges showing up for an item that is not in stock, please wait a week, and then contact your card issuer to ensure there is no delay on their end processing the removal of the charge.
We do our best, in conjunction with our suppliers, to meet or exceed every estimate we provide. Unfortunately, sometimes we aren't able to ship your item in the timeframe we hoped. If this happens, we'll email you to let you know, and provide a new ETA if it is available. If you'd like to keep waiting, no action is required - we'll continue working hard to source your item and ship it out to you. If you decide you'd no longer like to wait, you can cancel your order for that item.
What is the ETA for my backordered item?
We'll email you once you begin processing your order of when we expect to be able to ship your item. You can also check the status of your order by using our Order Status tool.

If an item is discontinued, we will still work with our supplier partners to try to find any remaining available inventory to fulfill your backorder. In the rare cases we cannot do so, we will cancel your order and let you know via email.
We communicate with our suppliers constantly as we work together to fulfill backorders and delight customers. To ensure the timeliest updates for all of our customers, we cannot check in with a supplier on any individual customers' backorder. While we know this may be frustrating, rest assured we're doing everything we can to fulfill your backorder as quickly as possible.
On the product page, there is a suggested products carousel that includes similar items that would be good replacements to the item you are looking at. You can always place a new order for a replacement item and cancel your existing backorder all on your own.

If the product is shown as out of stock, you may place a backorder now and reserve your place in line for inventory as it becomes available. We do not charge credit cards until orders are ready to ship. As soon as your ammunition inventory is received, we will ship it to you.
