The Iver Johnson Improved Modified Mobil Choke Tubes come in a variety of styles, gauges, and constriction types to suite the shooter's needs. All Iver Johnson Arms chokes are made from high chromium stainless steel for years of reliable service. These chokes are designed to produce dense patterns and are choked to produce extra tight groups at longer distances with slugs of slugs. Iver Johnson offers three different choke constrictions, one being a long choke tube that uses relatively little choke powder, constricts the throat of the shot considerably, and gives reliefs in the choke, making it a useful choke for use with lead shot. Iver Johnson also offers two bird chokes, one being a long flush mount choke, and one that is a standard flush mount choke tube. These chokes are all gauged for a 28 gauge shotgun. Iver Johnson offers three different choke tube constrictions, one being a long recoil choke tube that uses relatively little choke while imparting a wide variety of extra stopping power. All Iver Johnson Improved Choke Tubes utilize a longer forefoot than standard choke tubes. Therefore, the constrictions of the constriction put less strain on the forearm and the shotgun recoil system. Also, the longer forearm provides less wear on the forearm as well as greater energy transfer when shooting longer distances. In addition to these versatile constrictions, Iver Johnson choke tubes also offer greater leeway for sizing concentricity and the chokes produce denser patterns with slugs.
