California includes language for telescoping stocks in their assault weapon laws. Stocks need to be fixed so the compliant models have parts included in order to fix the stock into position.

If you’re looking for a no frills basic stock, this will fit the bill. It fits and it functions. If you’re putting together a basic no frills rifle as a truck gun or a last resort bug out rifle there’s no need for a big money stock.
