The Identi-Plug Plastic Foam Plugs L800-D are die cut from EVA foam and are ideal for use with test tubes, vials, platelet bags, and screw-type centrifuges. The low profile of the plug allows it to be easily pierced with a standard pin or a hypodermic (eartpick). The plug functions as a dust cover for an open centrifuge valve, a water trap for drying blood-ting areas, and a baster (mop) for capturing dry blood. The EVA foam is inserted into the open end of the plug to allow it to be easily pierced with a pin or needle. The plastic plug is then threaded into the end of an ETT (elbow/pelvis) and the forceps the plug to expand. When the plug is withdrawn from the ETT, it remains on the plug shaft.
