JARD Inc.'s bedding pillars for Ruger 10/22 rifles acts as a spacer that prevent overtightening of the stock mounting screw. Without a bedding pillar, the mounting screw can easily be overtightened, compressing wooden or synthetic stocks. This compression creates uneven pressure points and affects barrel harmonics. By eliminating the possibility of overtightening the mounting screw with a bedding pillar, uneven pressure points are eliminated and rifle accuracy is maintained.
