The holes do NOT go completely around. Only half way, intended for the holes to face upwards.

The KAK Compensator attaches to the barrel threaded end and reduces muzzle climb while serving to reduce muzzle rise. The three piece design is machined from steel with a Black Nitride finish and is a direct fit original KAK accessory that features three Kahles dynamic weights made of Kahles at the end of their respective barrels. The combination of the original Kahles and the new made in specialized factories Kahles delivers unparalleled shooting performance. Because the original Kak Compensator was designed for military applications, it must meet battlefield needs as well as national security requirements.
