Wire-EDM cut from a solid block of 4140 steel, not to be confused with other sights that are metal injection-molded (MIM) or investment cast. This Defensive Fixed Sight (DFS) has distinctive grasping serrations, large relief cut for an excellent silhouetted sight picture. This rear sight fits the popular Novak LoMount rear sight dovetail cut, often found on many factory-produced and custom 1911 pistols. Fits a 0.485" x 65 dovetail. Our standard front sight with a serrated sight blade. Set is sold with 0.160" tall blade. Blade is available in heights 0.150" to 0.200". Front Sight Fits 0.330"x 65 x 0.070" dovetail. This rear sight comes paiRed with our standard flat front sight with a serrated blade. The set is sold with a 0.200'' tall blade but blade heights from 0.150'' to 0.220'' are available upon request. Compatible with Novak type front sight dovetail cuts (0.330" x 65 x 0.075") as typically found on both customized and factory 1911 pistols.
