The Kershaw Knives Wildcat Ridge Knife is one of Kershaw's original Officer Ranch knives, born and proven on Pete Kershaw's ranch in eastern Oregon. They are sturdy work knives, pure and simple. The Kershaw Knives Wild Cat Ridge Knife is the largest of the group and boasts a 31/2-inch blade of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, which provides a good balance of toughness, edge sharpness, and corrosion resistance. The swaged clip-point blade provides an aggressive point for piercing tasks, and enough belly to take care of slicing tasks as well. The handle is stainless steel inlaid with cross-grooved ABS inserts on both sides for a secure grip under a wide variety of environmental conditions. The lock back design is extremely sturdy and keeps the blade securely in place when in use. To release it, the user must depress the locking mechanism on the back of the handle. The Kershaw Knives Wildcat Ridge Folding Knife is drilled to accept a lanyard so your blade is always close at hand when you need it. Or you can store it in the handy nylon belt sheath with Velcro closure.
