The necks of the bottles are drilled to accept a standard groundglass bulb (sold separately). The thin-walled, nitrogen-filled, and chemically inert bottles are suitable for most routinely used acids and alkalis. The inert filling and light-weight ring do not affect the acid-base balance and do not require special precautions or controls. Bottles are optically clear with wide mouth design and feature a fire-stabilized outer surface. The "Class I" or "double-blind" marking areas are not applicable to products containing powders or granulated substances.
