New buret connector with an enlarged tip is ideal for collecting drops or a liquid from a slide. Not recommended for use with continuous bubbling techniques such as those using the Evans-Kubick-Jensen or random access burets. The larger borosilicate glass buret tip requires a long, flexible pipet stem for use with continuous bubbling techniques such as those using the Elix® or Rocket Burets. The tip is enlarged to allow for continuous use; however, care must be taken to avoid injury to the tip or the user when the buret is in use. To prolong buret life, add an equal volume of water to the top and bottom of the buret after each use. After first use, allow to air-tight stabilize the buret by periodically adding a few drops of water from the buret into the reservoir and allow it to stand upright without collapse. When to use the buret: remove the reservoir from the slide and reinsert it into the buret.
