These pipet tips are produced by permanently sealing a number of small glass pipes with low-viscosity liquids. The tips are produced by reacting a small amount of liquid with a sealing ring surrounded by a very thin layer of water. During aseptic pipetting the air is forced out of the liquid by a plunger. During aseptic filtration the aspirator is dipped several times in the aspirated liquid preventing any possible air-liquid or explosive ascent. The solution then returns to the pipet and the liquid level is re-evaluated. There is a very small opening between the plunger and the end of the Sero medium. After a plunger blows dry, lightly pressurize the liquid using the stylus pad on the pipet handle to prevent any liquid loss during evaporation. When the product is frozen, simply reheat the liquid to a high temperature and return to pipetting without further aspirating. There is a very small amount of air trapped in the bulb of the pipet. After freezing, simply remove the pipet from the instrument and use as a syringe for aspirating.![]()
