These disposable tube centrifuge housings are designed with a plastoethylene (PE) outer shell. The PTFE (PP) plug on the tube connectors provides a leakproof seal around the tube. Tube centrifuge housings are fitted with a large PTFE plug on the outboard bearing housing. Tube centrifuge housings are fitted with an automatic stop valve to eliminate stopcock leakage. Tube centrifuge troughs are molded in two halves of clear plastoethylene (PE) to provide a leakproof seal around the tube. There is a large knurled lip around the rotor post for added rotor stability. Tube centrifuges are case hardened. The rotors are molded from medical grade, FDA sanctioned, FDA grade, PTFE inner tubes and out.
