The hourglass form features a thick walled, wide mouth single-tube design with a frosted finish on outside wall and a through-tube filled with a brown dye for long term stability. A ribbed flange on the upper half of the tube assures good heat transfer. The tube and handle are molded of a proprietary double-plastic compound that assures a uniform wall thickness resulting in increased heat transfer and chemical resistance. Holder is supplied with an adjustable stand for isolating temperature and a separate molecular level for isolating reagents.
