Very Good Brushes to help Clean 5.56/.223 by Dennis, July 21, 2015
Finally found some brushes that really help clean my 5.56/.223. Could be a little more dense/thicker, but has helped in cleaning Fits well on my cleaning stick and fits well in my 5.56 chamber I will be ordering more sets when this one wears out

Product Info for KleenBore Military Style Bore Brush

Kleenbore Military Style Brushes .223 and 5.56mm Bore Brush, #8-36 Threaded Coupling - All KleenBore military style brushes are designed speci?cally for M-16, AR-15, AK-47 and similar ri?es. The brushes are available in .22/.223/5.56 mm and .30/7.62mm, and feature core wire looped through a brass coupling that is threaded at #8-36. The chamber brush is con? gured with two diameters; the ?rst stage of phosphor bronze cleans the chamber area, while the second stage of stainless steel cleans the bolt-lock area. And, bore brushes are made of phosphor bronze with a brass wire core for a longer life for rigorous cleaning. Please note the #8-36 thread is not commercially standard, but will ?t most KleenBore multi-section rods.image
