It is significantly better and it will deliver a superior performance from both an optical and mechanical standpoint. Optically, it comes with the advantage of a 30mm tube, larger field of view and more professional lenses with fully multi-coated treatment for improved light transmission and image clarity. Mechanically, it features some newly designed turrets that are lockable and resettable to zero and a side parallax wheel for faster and more accurate focusing at any given distance.
Does a great job at 10-50 yards, but will not focus at full zoom beyond about 50 yards. The reticle lines are also too fine, getting lost in most views other than a white target.
