Prevent them from sliding down your leg with a webbing cinch on top, and secure them closed with industrial strength hook and loop on the front. A button clasp, double riveted lace hook, and nylon bootstrap prevent the bottom of the gaiter from lifting up while walking through snow or thick deadfall. A double fabric layer on the bottom half offers extra durability where needed most.
