These ground-glass, borosilicate microtubes have an exceptionally clear, matte-white, FDA-grade, borosilicate glass, nonsterile conical-bottom design. The wide-mouth design of these microtubes allows excellent access to the inside of the tube without the risk of contamination from splashes or debris. The wide opening at the top of each tube provides excellent visibility. These microtubes also have a distinctive matte finish on the outside of the tube. This unique design makes it easier to draw and pour samples, place samples in the freezer, and centrifuge the tubes. Tubes with ground-glass, borosilicate glass, and acid-resistant bottoms are recommended for most routine applications. Easy-to-read large white scales on both sides of the tube make it easy to count accurately.
