The Eppendorf* BioCoolerTM Plus Tube is a multi-use, general-purpose incubator. Use this incubator for storing serums, growth mediums, and other liquids. Built-in centrifuges ensure that the sample remains spherical even after returning to room temperature. The four compartments are easy to access and clean without sacrificing valuable sample. Built-in pump handles and a dust cover on the base ensure stability of the system even when submerged in water or aqueous solutions. Surfaces are nontoxic and autoclavable. The BTL* BioCooler* offers the convenience of autoclave-safe operation. The gentle rounding of the bead eliminates the cross contamination of pipets and other delicate sample containers. The serological pattern of the BTL* bead gives an accurate reading of the serum or culture preparation. The medium is easily removed by dispensing the appropriate size of the batch into each of the four compartments. The flat bottom design allows for maximum volume to be loaded in each individual well. The low-density polyethylene (LDPE) material of the BTL* is less soluble in water and readily absorbed by tissue culture. This quality assures that the serum or urine is returned to the donor with force applied during centrifugation. The cokern base provides a stable and reliable stopper for the long term stability of the system.
