Convenient method to lyse tissue in a centrifugal cylinder. Centrifugal tubes provide a mechanism for lysing tissue. Centrifugal tubes and rotors remove tissue with repeated centrifugation. However, tissue with a lower DNA content is more easily lysed and used in the centrifuge. Therefore, tissue with a lower DNA content is more easily concentrated in a centrifugal cylinder using a home centrifuge. However, tissue with a low Acid content is more easily concentrated in a centrifugal cylinder using a home centrifuge. Thus, tissue with an acidic tissue culture medium or blood serum may be used in the centrifugal concentration process. Nonsterile solids may be used in the centrifugal concentration process as raw materials or as finished products. Filters, rotors, and tubes with attached catchers or vents may be used in the separation process if desired. Ordering Information: ConcentriVap systems consist of tubing and rotors which are assembled with sealing rings and rotors. The rotors and rotors may be acid or base coated. Replacement rotors and rotors are ordered separately.
