The Labconco Centrivap Glass Lid is a centrifuge glass lid that fits on a centrifuge rotor with two clamping surfaces and a long slotted tube that contains a fixed center pin. A bursting disk at the center of the fixed angle rotor keeps the lid from falling apart. There is also an ejector port at the bottom of the fixed angle rotor housing. The Labconco Centrivap Glass Lid 7456600 has a single clamping surface that is grooved to receive a molded-in relief valve. There is a separate venting port with a pin sized hole that can be used for topping off the lid with a lid nut, if desired. The Labconco Centrivap Glass Lid lid is autoclavable and can be used with a centrifuge for generating cellular suspensions, such as urine and urine sediment.
