These replacement condensers serve all of the same functions as the standard issue condensers but have the added advantage of a stronger stainless steel construction which has been annealed. The annealed surfaces provide greater durability and stability but the increased surface area also provides greater difficulty in removal of heavier compounds from the distillate. Stainless steel is required to produce the higher vacuum, however, double walled tubing and an epoxy coating will provide the longer term stability required by most applications. The larger internal diameter and greater internal vacuum allow recovery of higher sample volumes for faster recovery. The recirculation pump can be used for continuous sampling or sampling when required by the flowmeter. These condensers have a crimped construction and the large internal diameter provides a large sampling area.
