Improve the efficiency and recovery of culture processes with the use of this PTFE diaphragm adapter, reducing cleaning costs and maintenance. The PTFE microporous material won't react with the media and supports platycophore development. The adapter will function even if the media is attacked. The increased flow rate and decreased pressure drop across the catalyst platform make this an excellent choice for diaphragm conversion. Three-port design allows easy access to the catalyst. A dust-free filter is inserted between the exhaust port and the adapter. A splash screen prevents back siphoning. Three sets of PTFE diaphragms are included. The diaphragm adapter may be placed in the housing between the housing and the exhaust port. To connect the adapter to a PTFE coated filter, first remove the filter from the exhaust port and install the adapter into the threaded end of the PTFE coated filter. A PTFE coated surface insures that the adapter remains clean even after lots with heavily used catalysts. Ordering Information: The STC-Lock Adapter requires a PTFE coated shaft and threaded connection. Anodized surface is finely ground and deburred. It is assembled with an o-ring and elastic clamps.
