Adapter allows the use of the S-Series Duospiral Cell Culture Biosafety cabinet exhaust hood as an air filter. The housing incorporates an integral filter support structure and a megohmmeter to monitor and change the filter. Filter may be changed without disconnecting the exhaust hood. Intended for use with a PTFE membrane filter (S-Series) using the Dampered Adaptor. Designed from ULPA spec Type 4 requirements. Ensure that the supporting hood is clean and free from debris prior to connecting the exhaust hood. Allows the user to clean the housing, filter and install the biosafety hood without removing the adapter from the hood. Not recommended for use with larger hoods. Consult factory for larger hood models.
