Intended for installation on the exhaust hood wall in order to absorb sound energy that would otherwise cause the hood to overheat and possibly cause secondary condensation, which may form on the outer surface of the filter. This will improve the efficiency of the hood by preventing it from working at full capacity. Installation is simple, using the adjustable clamping device to secure the exhaust hood wall to the hood frame. The exhaust hood should then be installed on the damper after the damper has been installed on the hood. Damper should be installed and secured to the hood wall before the hood is removed. Widened at the corners to avoid potential damage to the hood wall when it is removed, the damper should then be replaced. Damper should be installed and secured to the outer wall surface in order to promote efficient hood operation. Failure to do so may result in incomplete or improperly closing the hood.
