The high efficiency economizer fan increases exhaust air flow while reducing energy costs. The high recovery multi-stage clutch draws air through the removable grease-caked aluminum housing assembly to the outside world, leaving the laboratory releasable. A magnetic stirring impeller maintains the air flow at the desired rate, while a transparent baffle keeps the lab fume hood clean. A brass anode lock enhances safety by protecting the lab environment from hazardous fumes. A reusable mesh filter keeps the lab hood clean while capturing incidental vapors and eliminating the backflow that can arise from recirculated gas. A maintenance bypass keeps the control panel clear of non-hazardous materials and reducing unnecessary maintenance.
