Eppendorf* final filters are recommended for use in procedures requiring high accuracy and reproducibility. They incorporate a unique Eppendorf* hollow fiber media with minimal surface tension that facilitates media recovery and retention, while still permitting convenient and easy access for inspection and sample retrieval. The Eppendorf all-fiber media filters feature a special polyethylene retention layer with a small funnel-shaped funnel mouth that allows liquids to flow in and out of the filter with minimal backflow, allowing for visual inspection and confirmation of the retained filter. The Eppendorf All-fiber can be used for final preparation of agar plates, thin layer partitions, and plated cell suspensions prior to filtration. The all-fiber can be used for final preparation of APTI or agar plated preparations prior to filtration. An APTI-quality assurance report is provided with each filter.
