Dura Lite* Heated Chillers creates a uniform convection heat which combines with a fan forced circulation system to provide an effective method for drying your specimens. A sensor in the lid of the centrifuge picks up the temperature of the lifted sample, and controls the heater panel. The sensor is placed in the lower right-hand corner of the lid. This sensor decreases the amount of energy required to operate the heater panel. Place the lid on the rotor where desired for drying, or cool the tube and place the lid on the rotor where there is less contamination of the sample. The heated shelf provides a circulation current to all the vessels on the rotor. A display window shows the current being applied to the heated shelf and the type of heat source. Place the lid on the rotor, and then lower the tray down until the level is read. Place the lid on the sensor where desired. Place the sensor where the bottom of the rotor will be.
