Protect and stabilize precious metals from a liquid sample until use by rapidly centrating it in a liquid nitrogen environment. A two-part epoxy-coated steel block containing a wax layer is chemical resistant and will not absorb moisture. The block is epoxy coated and accepts all chemical reagents for stabilizing metals. The chemical resistant coating will not absorb moisture and will not etch or plugific, reducing loss of valuable metals due to liquid reabsorption. RapidVac® is a trademark of Labconco for use with Rapid Vacuum holding tubes in all Laboratory Scientific centrifuges equipped with the BNC* safety light. The RapidVac® is also the subject of a number of patents. The technology is based on the "lean manufacturing process". It is designed to reduce scrap and was formerly used in the production of specialized chemicals for use in small volume production. One block per bag. Bags and caps are easily removable. Using the Large Vacuum block will provide a tight seal around the bag contents, enabling the liquid to be collected and circulated throughout the entire bag without clogging or leakage.
