Quickly and efficiently evaporates a wide range of organic solvents, including acetone, ether, toluene, ether/water, and acetone/water mixtures. RapidVap mini-evaporator provides a rapid and efficient method for removing supernatants from liquids and supernanes. The evaporator features a two-stage lid that includes a chamber lid that opens automatically for introduction of N2 gas. A lid safety sensor prevents lid from falling when the N2 is being introduced or during the evaporation process. The evaporator also features a display that can be set to show the time or the date so that there is no need to enter data inadvertently. The RS-232 link provides for evaporation data to be transmitted from the PC to the evaporator.
