The Labconco Trap Insert Moisture Collector Traps are used to determine the moisture content of a mixture before and after centrifugation. The tack-free absorbent polyethylene material of these Traps resists humidity and traps humidity in the void spaces between the trap liners, eliminating moisture loss and chemical spills. The Trap Insert Moisture Collector Traps have a special anti-adsorption polyethylene material that repels moisture and resists chemical spills. The closure on one end of the trap holds and removes standard PTFE spin-cinch tubes for efficient and reliable centrifugation while the other end holds and collects PTFE precipitates as they develop in the absence of a vacuum. The retainer strap that is part of the trap insert must extend completely through the entire width of the retention trap to allow for insertion of the spin-cinch bar.
