Original Ro Ro Filter Startup Kit, Contains components necessary for one Ro Ro filter to purify water to a set quality prior to sample introduction. A one liter ro filter is required for each startup kit. Individual components are selected according to their corresponding Ro filter application. Ro filters are intended for use only in the laboratory or in small scale production environments. Ro filters are intended for use primarily in the production of clean water for direct use in production laboratories or for pre-treatment of wastewater prior to discharge to the environment. Ro systems require special media that is not recommended for direct contact with the environment. Softening of samples prior to sample introduction into RO systems may damage the membrane. A Ro filter is an essential element of a Ro system since it introduces a controlled amount of polishing media into the effluent stream. A hollow fiber filter is included in the startup kit which improves the ro membrane's surface porosity and causes the RO membrane to swell slightly, permitting a vacuum to be drawn through the membrane prior to sample introduction. The dual-media system utilizes pre-conditioned RO chemicals in the media, which are automatically released from the pre-assembled cartridges as the system is operated. The RO system provides a high-quality RO membrane without any of the disadvantages of other RO systems.
