Product Info for Labnet Swing-out Rotor, 12 X 50ml
The Labnet swing-out rotor features a unique swing-out lid that enables dangerous chemicals to be released from a vial before they enter the glove box. Simply swing the lid out and eject the entire lot of rotors and tubes simultaneously. Excellent flow rates are achieved throughout the run, due to the small amount of distilled water injected into the rotor. By simply closing the lid, a vacuum is created, allowing all the tubes to be removed simultaneously. The swing-out rotor is a valuable addition to anycentrifuge with a compatible fixed-spindle technology. Simply place the lid back down and gently shake the rotors to ensure complete recovery of the rotors. The unique swing-out rotor will not permit contamination of the supernatant, since all of the tubes are air-permeated with an epoxy resin. It will not rust, pit or significantly affect the flow of the run. The rotors are easily taken out and cleaned according to the manufacturers instructions.
