Steiner OTAL-A Advanced Tactical Laser with Infrared Pointer/Illuminator (835nm) (<150mW) is rugged, compact, waterproof and manufactured with the latest cutting-edge technology. Tactical Lasers from A-series by Steiner includes an adjustable focusing ring which allows the operator to adjust the size of the IR laser beam depending on mission requrements. When focused, the laser provides a continuous beam along the weapon's line of fire for precise aiming. When defocused, the beam spreads to provide improved illumination and situational awareness.

Additional features of this Steiner Laser Sight include a built-in double tap switch which activates the laser in either a momentary (single tap) or continuous ON mode (double tap). OTAL's mount behind the front sight on M-16 or M-4 style rifles and the laser is offset to project around the front sight.
