No, the Leapers UTG 0.83in Medium Profile Riser Mount is not designed as a see-through riser. It sits much too low to use the opening as a means of aiming down your sights. It's designed to raise an optic by 0.83" to provide a co-witness.

The Leapers UTG 0.83in Medium Profile 3-slot Riser Mount (MPN:MNT-RS08S3) is 1.58" in length, 1.57" in width, and 0.83" in height. The 13-slot mount (MPN:MNT-RS08L) is 5.7" in length, 1.75" in width, and 1" in height.
