What is the weight of the buffer itself? Expert Answer

The manufacturer doesn't specify the weight of the buffer in the Leapers UTG AR308 A2 Style Fixed Buttstock Complete Assembly. However, the rifle length buffer from Leapers UTG is 5oz. But there is no information stating that it is the exact buffer as the Leapers UTG AR308 A2 Style Fixed Buttstock Complete Assembly.

This stock is a good basic A.R. stock with a heavier buffer,its all you need.It will fit any after market receiver and is non adjustable.It is black and has a sling attachment.I'm using it on a 6,5 Creedmore upper but it can be used with a 308 also .

Very impressed with this product. Although I do not believe the butt plate is made of metal, feels like a durable plastic, I am still pleased with it. Feels solid and fit perfectly. Note: I did not have issues with the buffer screw being too tight.
